On a brisk January day, at a home setting in South Texas, a dream began to unfold with a vision for future growth. It was January 31st, 1993 to be exact, in which Pastor Hughes Jenkins and First Lady Ella Jenkins would cast a vision for a church now named New Abundant Life. As the church began to grow, the need to move from home to building became apparent. This move brought the church to the corner of West Hillcroft and South Main where it remained for a little over a year.  After a inspiring year of growth the church moved to a larger building on FM2234/Texas Parkway in Missouri City and remained at that location for six years. With God's help 3.82 acres of property on the corner of West Hillcroft @ Chasewood Dr and the Fort Bend Tollway was purchased. The completion of our santuary on October 13, 2000 was an event of epic proportion with a celebration and awareness of how God can take a little and make it great. With an additional 4.82 acres the intent to expand and "reach" is evident.
